This puts a button in Outlook for filing an email to Act! by hand and creating contacts or activities from it. It’s optional — automatic attaching already works without it.
Done once by whoever manages your Microsoft 365 account. The button then appears in everyone’s Outlook automatically — nobody has to install anything. About 2 minutes.
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
In the left menu, open Settings → Integrated apps.
Click Upload custom apps, choose “Provide link to manifest file,” and paste the link below.
Pick who gets it, accept the permission, and finish. It rolls out to Outlook shortly.
The link to paste in step 3:

Not the admin? Send this page to whoever manages your Microsoft 365 / email accounts. Microsoft’s own step-by-step (with live screenshots) is here.
No admin access? You can add it to your own Outlook in a few clicks.
Some versions ask for a link instead of a file — if so, use and choose “Add from URL”.
The New Outlook (Windows & Mac) tucks add-ins under the More apps (⋯ / Apps) button. Pin it once and the Act! Sync+ pane stays open on every email — no more digging through the menu.
Click the highlighted pin to keep the pane open.
Note: Microsoft doesn’t let add-ins pin themselves automatically or sit next to first-party buttons (Viva/Copilot) — pinning the pane once is the built-in way to keep it handy.
Normally each person signs in to Act! Sync+ once inside the add-in. With single sign-on, the add-in recognizes their Microsoft 365 account and signs them in automatically — no Act! Sync+ password to type. Their Act! Sync+ account is matched by email.
Turn it on for your whole team (admin, ~10 seconds)
Whoever manages your Microsoft 365 account clicks the button and approves once. After that, nobody on your team ever sees a sign-in or a prompt in the add-in.
Enable single sign-on for my organizationMicrosoft 365 admin only — you’ll be asked to sign in and approve “Act! Sync+ Add-in SSO.” Not the admin? Send this page to whoever manages your Microsoft 365 accounts.
Prefer not to? You can skip the button — each person will just click Allow once the first time they open the add-in, then never again.
